You can find all the info here, but we are teaching another screen printing class in January…a perfect way to use that xmas money to make something for yourself instead of buying some kind of baloney made in China. The cost of the class is $80 and it includes all the materials you will need except fabric, which we let you pick out yourself. Email us: email@example.com to sign up or to ask questions.
After 2-3 hours, you’ll have a pair of pillows, much like this but including your own motif…how exciting!

we stayed at the studio on friday night before our show until about 4:30 am, and we all said we’d like to leave by 2 at the latest.
but the next morning we posed for this enthusiastic self-portrait and i think we look pretty good…
three happy sleepies
i was still assembling earrings and they looked really good on the screen printed table top:
patterns on pattern
new laptop sleeves:
we are so trendy.
half our space:
coat racks are us.
the next morning we woke up to snow in our hometown, something that has not happened for us for years! it was so pretty…this is right around the corner from my house…my neighborhood looked so festive and happy:
it’s good to be here.
we were really lucky to be featured on decor8 a little bit ago….here.
and today our pet pillows were on an etsy blog as well.
as chelsea says, “all the money is in the blogs.”
we truly have been working so hard. so many late nights at the studio. fun, but really tiring.
darra says, "life is hard when you're an entrepreneur."
in the midst of all the holiday shows, late nights at the studio, and general mayhem (lately this includes snowstorms and really low temps for portland standards, which makes our studio almost unbearable) we’ve been accomplishing some logistical tasks to start up the crosbie just right: banking, accounting, phone service, things of that nature.
this is the crosbie office phone:
it lives in darra’s desk drawer. richard antczak II kindly donated it to the biz. he may not be aware of this. anyway, the other day this conversation occured at the studio, loosely centered on finances, as about 75% of our conversations are:
richard: (muttering slightly) we got the phone bill today.
darra: (overly excited, and emerging from around the corner, yelling, gesturing) WE GOT A PHONE CALL TODAY?
richard: no. we got the phone BILL today.
sari: laughing hysterically.
it was truly priceless. is it normal to get the phone bill before you get a legitimate phone call when starting a business?
these pillows are for you, not your pet. we were inspired by our friends’ and parents’ obsessive unconditional love for their pets. after numerous parties/dinners/gatherings where the topic of conversation focused on pets for large lengths of time, we decided this was a pretty good idea…you send us a photo, we print it on a lovely, sophisticated linen accent pillow, in addition to one of our unique patterns.

very regal subject.
thanks to ben and christina for volunteering zuzu as our first candidate.
the other night we stayed late at the studio re-upping our goods for the next days show…
i was able to snap a few pictures of richard working his magic on metal.

after plasma cutting we get the final product--our most popular item--the flower hook
